By Gina, the rocker chic with the sometime red highlights or pink hair, had good and bad experiences while in American Idol and last night she was voted off the show. She had the least amount of viewers’ votes. Gina Glocksen is 22 and is originally from Naperville, Illinois. With her leaving there are only 8 finalists left.
In her last performance she sang the classic song “Smile” Randy said “nice and controlled performance” Simon thought that she wasn’t on the same league as the other finalists.
After finding out she was the one going home Gina dropped a few tears but was able to sing through her last performance in American Idol.
By Sadly it is over for Chris. The funny curly-haired guy who once said he was bringing chubby back was eliminated from American Idol on Wednesday. Chris, 28 is from Greenville, South Carolina and with him leaving the number of Idol wannabes is down to nine. One of the nine will be the next American Idol which will be chosen in May.
Simon predicted before the results were announced “I think its bye bye, curly”. Last week Chris sang a Police classis “Every little thing she does is magic” and Simon though it was a mess.
Haley and Phil were the next with the lowest votes. Over 30 million people voted this week. Phil won Simon over with his version of “Every Breath You Take”. “This may surprise you, Phil, but I actually thought that was very good," Cowell said Tuesday.
By What is wrong with American Idol this year? Stephanie Edwards one of the best singers this season was voted off last night. On the other hand some of the weakest and not enjoyable to watch performers like Sanjaya Malakar are still in the top ten.
Stephanie Edwards, 19 is originally from Savannah Georgia. She auditioned in Memphis and sadly got voted off on March 21st. On her last performance Simon Cowell said that she lacked edginess and youthful energy, which she had brought on her previous performances. Paula though the same thing and added that she should have more fun on stage.
Chris Richardson (Justin Timberlake look a like) had the next lowest vote tally. Richardson impressed the judges with his last performance “Don’t let the Sun Catch you Crying” Judges though that was his best performance ever and Paula added that he was charming and sexy.
Ok so every week millions of people gather around their TV to watch American Idol. Almost everybody has already picked their favorites. Surprisingly a few of the best contestants have been voted off. Sundance was voted off last night. Judges were very impressed with that, and have been for the past few weeks.
Antonella Barba, Jared Cotter, and Sabrina Sloan were also voted off last night. There are only 12 contestants left. Those twelve include Malakar, not exactly a judge’s favorite. Paula Abdul was stunned “I’m speechless," Abdul said. "This is a singing competition, and Sundance, you’ve been one of our finest." What sis Simon say? How’d this happen? "The volume was turned down," said Simon Cowell, who has criticized Malakar, 17, for his "weird" stage presence.
I’m sure everyone has heard about the American Idol contestant Antonella Barba’s nude pictures and under age drinking. If you haven’t this is what happened. Last week somebody posted some nude pictures of Antonella Barba online. There were also some pictures of Antonella performing oral sex. Antonella’s friend Amanda said that those pictures were only meant to seen by one person only, and that was her long time boyfriend, Antonella made a very provocative calendar for him with those pictures. Amanda also said that the oral sex pictures were not really Antonella, and that the girl on the pictures just looks a lot like her.
Nude pictures were not the only pictures posted there are many pictures of Antonella drinking and partying although she is still underage and attends a Catholic University. What a shame! All this pictures have been posted all over the internet and have been the number one search in many search engines like Lycos.
