By After three years of rumors about the girls from Sex and the City getting together fro the big screen, it has finally been confirmed. HBO and New Line Cinema have gotten together to give the fans what they have been waiting for. Movie production will begin this fall with all four leading ladies, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall. An official announcement will be made next week since New Line’s offices are closed.
In 2005 three of the actresses were all locked to the project, all but Cattrall who reportedly held out for a payday on par with Parker’s also a executive producer. After years of rumor and also reports of infighting between the women, the project seemed irreparable.
While Sarah Jessica Parker was promoting her new clothing line, she was asked about the big screen reunion. She said “Never say never” “It was such a great show; it would be fantastic to go back.”
By Rumors say that Nicole Richie’s pregnancy is now confirmed. Nicole’s rep said he had nothing to report when asked about the rumors but did not say that the reports where not true.
Nicole has been dating Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden for over 6 months and rumors say that there will be a summer wedding but it hasn’t been confirmed.
Lionel Richie, Nicole’s dad was interviewed about his daughter. He said “Nicole is probably one of those wonderful people that will not tell her father until I keep going, ‘Come on Nic. I’m your father. What’s going on?” and she would say “ Nothing dad, nothing” Lionel says that right now she is in the nothing mode and he says that she’ll probably let her know at the last minute and hopes that it won’t cost him a fortune.
By Al Gore’s son was arrested Wednesday for possession of marihuana and prescription drugs. He was pulled over by deputies for speeding and found these surprises in his car. He was driving a Toyota Prius about 100mph in San Diego at around 2:15am. Al Gore III is 24.
The car was searched because deputies smelled the marihuana. They found less than one ounce, but they also found, Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall. He did not have a prescription for any of those drugs. Al is being held under a $20,000 bail in Santa Ana.
In December of 2003 he was arrested for pot possession while he was a student at Harvard University. Al completed a substance abuse counseling to settle some of those charges.
Al Gore III is the only and youngest son Al and Tipper Gore have, the rest of their kids are girls.
By Chris Benoit, his wife and seven year old son were found dead in their Georgia home Monday. Detective Bo Turner said that the case is being treated as a murder suicide, but nothing is confirmed until the evidence is examined in a crime lab.
It seems like the 40 year old former wrestler killed hi wife Nancy and his own seven year old son Daniel over the weekend and himself on Monday. A neighbor called police and that how the bodies were found in three different rooms.
The lead investigator in this case is Lt. Tommy Pope, from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department. He said that the deaths were being investigated ad homicide. The causes of the deaths are still under investigation.
By Paris Hilton says that she suffers from claustrophobia – a fear to be in small places. She says that her time spent in jail has changed her and that she now appreciates life’s simple pleasures.
“I’m so much more grateful for everything that I have, even just to have a pillow at night or food,” said Paris. NBC said that they would pay Hilton $1 million dollars for an interview.
“I just can’t wait to see my family and have a nice meal and be in my own bed and appreciate all the things I took for granted,” Hilton told Ryan Seacrest. Paris has now confirmed her extreme anxiety when she was confined in a small place. “I’m claustrophobic and my cell is really small.” She said “I was going a little bit crazy in the beginning. I’m getting used to it now.”
By Howard Stern and Birkhead seem to be working together for the benefit of Ana Nicole’s baby. Commissioner Mitchell L. Beckloff ordered Smith’s will into probate. Stern is the appointed executer of the will while Birkhead is the legal guardian of Smith’s state.
The court will begin the process of identifying Smith’s assets and see how they should be distributed. When Smith died she was worth $710,000. She had left everything to her son who died late last year. She said that she intentionally omitted to provide for my spouse and other heirs, including future spouses and children and other descendants now living and those hereafter born or adopted.” Smith was not expecting to have any more children when the will was written but she would have wanted her daughter to be the beneficiary.
By Music mogul Lou Pearlman was caught in a hotel in Indonesia after a German tourist tipped officials that he had spotted him at the Westin Resort at Nusa Dua, Bali. The Indonesian police interviewed Pearlman and decided he was not welcome in their country based on information given to them by the FBI. Pearlman was flown to Guam, the nearest U.S. outpost and was placed under arrest. He will remain there and then he will be flown to Orlando, Florida.
Lou Pearlman will be turning 53 on Tuesday. He disappeared from Orlando in January where he is being sued and questioned about hi business. His hearing started right after 12:30am Orlando time, which is mid afternoon in Guam. Pearlman requested to be represented by a taxpayer-funded lawyer.
Pearlman was asked Friday to disclose his personal financial information to show whether the government should provide his lawyer. He refused since that could be used as evidence against him.
By Paris was let out of jail Thursday morning. She only spent a few days in jail instead of the 45 she was supposed to for violating her probation. It is not over yet for her. Paris is going to have to wear a monitoring bracelet and stay home for another 40 days.
Hilton was offered home confinement for the remainder of her sentence for medical reasons. Privacy rules are prohibiting the spokesperson to give any further details. Some sources are saying that Paris was refusing to eat much of the jail food.
After an extensive consultation with medical personnel, they decided to offer Paris “reassignment” to home confinement, which she accepted. The decision was made by a panel of officials in the sheriffs department.
By Paris Hilton only has 4 days until she has to report to the Century Regional Detention Facility. She has until 11:59pm on June 5 to start serving time. Her original sentence was 45 days behind bars; however she will only be serving 23 days.
Steve Whitmore, Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman said that there is no chance Paris will be released before her release due date. No matter how overcrowded it gets out there. “The situation in the jail will not determine Hilton’s release. She has been given a full sentence. She will do her full sentence.”
The jail is located 5 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. This jail has been an all-female facility since March 2006. Paris will be spending her jail time in a “special needs” unit, where she will probably not have a roommate.
Lindsay’s Partying Might Get Her In Big Trouble
By Lindsay Lohan crashed her Mercedes last Saturday after a weekend of hard partying. The accident happened at around 5:30am Saturday morning. She was cited for suspicion of DUI. It happened in the corner of Sunset and Foothill, just around the corner from Tom and Katie’s house. Lohan was driving and she had two passengers in her 2005 Mercedes. A witness called the cops, but when they arrived Lindsay and her passenger had already left the scene.
The cops said that it appeared the actress was speeding, lost control of her v12, hit the curb and crashed into some bushes. Investigators found a usable amount of a drug that seems like cocaine.
After the crash Lindsay was taken to a near by hospital to treat her minor injuries. The two other people in the car were not hurt. Lohan was arrested at the hospital for driving under the influence.
