Paris was let out of jail Thursday morning. She only spent a few days in jail instead of the 45 she was supposed to for violating her probation. It is not over yet for her. Paris is going to have to wear a monitoring bracelet and stay home for another 40 days.
Hilton was offered home confinement for the remainder of her sentence for medical reasons. Privacy rules are prohibiting the spokesperson to give any further details. Some sources are saying that Paris was refusing to eat much of the jail food.
After an extensive consultation with medical personnel, they decided to offer Paris “reassignment” to home confinement, which she accepted. The decision was made by a panel of officials in the sheriffs department.
“I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally,” said Hilton in a statement from her attorney. “I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes.”
My thoughts
I think they are just making everything up so she doesn’t have to stay in jail that long. I wonder if when any of the other women in there don’t eat, they let them go home? I don’t think so.
