By Chris Benoit, his wife and seven year old son were found dead in their Georgia home Monday. Detective Bo Turner said that the case is being treated as a murder suicide, but nothing is confirmed until the evidence is examined in a crime lab.
It seems like the 40 year old former wrestler killed hi wife Nancy and his own seven year old son Daniel over the weekend and himself on Monday. A neighbor called police and that how the bodies were found in three different rooms.
The lead investigator in this case is Lt. Tommy Pope, from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department. He said that the deaths were being investigated ad homicide. The causes of the deaths are still under investigation.
By Paris Hilton says that she suffers from claustrophobia – a fear to be in small places. She says that her time spent in jail has changed her and that she now appreciates life’s simple pleasures.
“I’m so much more grateful for everything that I have, even just to have a pillow at night or food,” said Paris. NBC said that they would pay Hilton $1 million dollars for an interview.
“I just can’t wait to see my family and have a nice meal and be in my own bed and appreciate all the things I took for granted,” Hilton told Ryan Seacrest. Paris has now confirmed her extreme anxiety when she was confined in a small place. “I’m claustrophobic and my cell is really small.” She said “I was going a little bit crazy in the beginning. I’m getting used to it now.”
By Donald Trump is not done with reality TV. He is partnering with MTV to create a new reality show called “Pageant Place” which will cast former Miss USA Tara Conner as “den mother” to three winners of beauty pageants.
Conner got lots of attention last year when she was seen partying a little too much. However, Trump who co-owns the Miss USA, Miss Universe and Miss Teen USA pageants gave her a second chance.
“We’d been thinking about everything that happens backstage and how women like Tara captured the imagination of so many of us, including a slob name Rosie O’Donnell, who didn’t like that I gave Tara a second chance.” Trump said in an interview “And we thought, wouldn’t it be great if we had the cameras roll?”
By Prince William turned 25 and now he has access to $500,000 a year from his mother Princess Diana’s multi-million pound fortune. According to their mother’s will Prince William and Prince Harry will get their half share when they turn 30. At age 25 they are able to get the interest and some other income on the $13 million that their mother left after she died in a car crash in 1997.
It is not known what the prince will do with his money that is estimated to be between $500,000 and $600,000 a year. Harry is now 22 but will have access to a similar amount when he turns 25 as well.
William and Harry are second lieutenants in the British army and are now earning salaries of $44,000 a year. They also receive money from their father, Prince Charles.
By Howard Stern and Birkhead seem to be working together for the benefit of Ana Nicole’s baby. Commissioner Mitchell L. Beckloff ordered Smith’s will into probate. Stern is the appointed executer of the will while Birkhead is the legal guardian of Smith’s state.
The court will begin the process of identifying Smith’s assets and see how they should be distributed. When Smith died she was worth $710,000. She had left everything to her son who died late last year. She said that she intentionally omitted to provide for my spouse and other heirs, including future spouses and children and other descendants now living and those hereafter born or adopted.” Smith was not expecting to have any more children when the will was written but she would have wanted her daughter to be the beneficiary.
By A massive fire swept a furniture warehouse making the roof collapse and taking the lives of nine firefighters. “Nine brave, heroic, courageous firefighters of the city of Charleston have perished fighting fire in a most courageous and fearless manner, carrying out their duties” Charleston Mayor Joseph P. Riley said. “To all of their loved ones, our heart goes out to the.”
Two of the employees that were trapped in the building were rescued from the blaze, which started at around 7pm. Firefighters had to punch a hole through the wall of the furniture warehouse to reach the two trapped employees.
The county coroner planned to disclose the names of the victims. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. It seemed like the fire had started in the storage area. It is still unknown if there were sprinklers in the building.
By Music mogul Lou Pearlman was caught in a hotel in Indonesia after a German tourist tipped officials that he had spotted him at the Westin Resort at Nusa Dua, Bali. The Indonesian police interviewed Pearlman and decided he was not welcome in their country based on information given to them by the FBI. Pearlman was flown to Guam, the nearest U.S. outpost and was placed under arrest. He will remain there and then he will be flown to Orlando, Florida.
Lou Pearlman will be turning 53 on Tuesday. He disappeared from Orlando in January where he is being sued and questioned about hi business. His hearing started right after 12:30am Orlando time, which is mid afternoon in Guam. Pearlman requested to be represented by a taxpayer-funded lawyer.
Pearlman was asked Friday to disclose his personal financial information to show whether the government should provide his lawyer. He refused since that could be used as evidence against him.
By The TV mob drama The Sopranos ended with Tony Soprano controversially blacking out. Fans are now seizing on clues to know if he was rubbed out. One of the clues was a flashback in a past episode to a conversation between Tony and his brother-in-law about death. An HBO spokesman said that was a legitimate hint and that the show’s creator had a definite ending in mind.
“While he won’t say to me 100 percent what it all means, he says some people who’ve guessed have come closer than others”. “There are definitely things there that he intended for people to pick up on.”
By There is a cheap highly addictive drug called “cheese heroin” and it has already killed 21 teens in Dallas, Texas in the past two years. Authorities are hoping to stop it before the fatalities spread all over the nation.
This “Cheese Heroin” is a mix of black tar Mexican heroin and crushed over the counter medications such as Tylenol PM. The sedative effects of the heroin and the sleeping aids make a deadly mix. It’s taking two downers at once, “If you take the body and you start slowing everything down, everything inside your body, eventually you’re going to slow down the heart until it stops and, when it stops, you’re dead” said police detective Monty Moncibais.
Authorities are watching and closely monitoring the use of “cheese.” The DEA is working with officials in Dallas to raise public awareness and also trying to identify the traffickers.
By Isaiah Washington lost his job in the ABC hit “Grey’s Anatomy”. It is the consequence of creating an anti-gay slur. Hi contract was not renewed for next season. “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore,” said Washington in a statement.
Katherine Heigl and Gay rights groups were his most vocal critics. “This is something that will have changed the scope of his life” Heigl said last month. She also said that Washington was sorry and embarrassed for what he had done. Washington tried mending his mistake and was seeking therapy.
Washington met with officials from the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network and he filmed a public service announcement where he said that “words have power” to hurt or heal.
