The millionaire founder of Girls Gone Wild empire had a hearing Monday in Panama City on contempt of court charges. Joe Francis drew the citation last month in a federal civil lawsuit brought by seven underage girls that were filmed by his company in 2003.

The girls’ lawyers told Judge Richard Smoak that Joe Francis was verbally abusive while in a settlement talk. The judge ordered Francis to settle the case or go to jail. Other negotiations were made with a mediator. Smoak issued a contempt order and Francis refused to surrender at first and called the Smoak a judge gone wild.

It seems like Francis has also been charged with bribing a jail guard for some water and for having prescription sleeping pills in his jail. Joe Francis pleaded guilty and has been fined $5,010 and sentenced to 35 days in jail.

Reportedly Joe Francis is already going crazy in jail having full-blown anxiety attacks and break downs. He is isolated in a cold cell with a towel and a blanket to keep him warm. His jail ward-mate is a convicted murderer who killed a police officer and has been sentenced to die. The mate sits there and yells “Girls Gone Wild!” “Joe Francis, Whoo!”

Even if Francis is released he might be thrown back in jail as soon as he walks out of court for bringing cash and drugs into his jail cell.

My thoughts

All those girls want is money. It’s not like they didn’t know. These guys go out with cameras and t-shirts that say girls gone wild. Those girls must have agreed to have the Girls Gone Wild staff to record everything they did. So parents teach your daughters to be a little more careful and not to pose and have guys film them naked if they really don’t want to. Joe you are my hero!! And as the guy in your cell says: “Girls Gone Wild!” “Joe Francis, Whoo!”
