In January 2007 Fantasy writer David Eddings, 75, was flushing the gas tank of his Excalibur sports car with water when he noticed a some liquid underneath. So he lit a piece of paper and threw it under the car to see if it was still flammable. Well, it was and a large orange fireball ripped through his garage and into his office which was located next door.
His 95-year-old mother-in-law came outside to see the Juniper trees lining the driveway on fire as well.
Since his car was no longer in use, Eddings decided that he would empty the gas tank to prevent a future fire, but instead he caused a fire.
"One word comes to mind," said the novelist as he stood outside his home in a pajamas and slippers. "Dumb."
Saturday North Korea’s Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye Gwan announced that they will not shut down there Yongbyong Nuclear Facility until it gets back all its money currently frozon in a Macua, China bank. Kim Kye Gwan, Korea’s chief nuclear negotiator, made the comments as he arrived in Beijing China while attending one of the six-nation nuclear dismantlement talks being hosted there. On Tuesday February 13th, 2007 North Korea agreed to dismantle its nuclear weapons program in exchange for economic easements.
US financial sanctions against the Banco Delta Asia bank in Macau have been a key obstacle to progress in the six-party talks involving the two Koreas, the US, China, Japan and Russia. These sanctions began in September 2005 when Washington accused the bank of handling illicit North Korean funds linked to money laundering, drug trafficking and counterfeit currency.
The Walt Disney Company has started making a new musical cartoon called “The Frog Princes” which will be based in New Orleans and will feature the first black Disney princess.
The cartoon is supposed to come out in 2009. This hand-drawn cartoon is the first film Disney has committed to since last month pledging to return to the traditional hand-drawn animations.
“The Frog Princes” is a musical composed by Randy Newman. The girl’s name is Maddy and she lives in the French Quarter in New Orleans. Disney did not provide details about the plot, but did show some of the drawings to shareholders, and a song from the movie was played by Newman and a jazz band.
Maddy is the ninth Disney princess. The other 8 have already generated $3 billion globally since 1999. Disney Princesses are the fastest growing brand and generate the most for the company’s Consumer Products Division.
As a little girl Sunny Lane wanted to be a professional Ice Skater. Her mom used to help her with her outfits and dad was always their cheering her. Years later they still do the same thing except that Sunny Lane doesn’t want to be an Ice Skater any more, she wants to be a porn star and her parents support her 100 percent and even manage her porn star career. Mom still helps her with her outfits and dad still supports her and helps her chase her dreams.
Sunny loves being in front of the camera, she mentioned having many talents in many areas and wants to show people all her talents. Sunny’s nickname in the porn industry is “Shirley Temple of Porn” she earned that name because she looks a lot younger than what she really is. She wouldn’t say her exact age and only said she is in her 20s.
So the fattest man in the world is in Mexico. Manual Uribe who once weighed over half a ton was able to leave his house for the first time in 5 years. He was wheeled outside on his bed and was received by neighbors with a mariachi band.
He reached the weight of 1,235 pounds. Manuel has already lost 395 pounds but he is still not able to leave his home on his own. He was able to loose the weight by starting a high protein diet. Manuel now weighs around 840 pounds.
Manuel is still so big that 6 people had to help him leave the house and pushed him around town, after some celebration a forklift lifted him into a truck and was driven around town. The 41 year old has exited to finally see the sky and enjoy the sun.
By Sylvester Stallone tried to bring illegal substances into Australia. The Hollywood hunk was traveling with vials of muscle-building hormones, which in Australia are restricted.
The 60-year-old super star and known for his franchise movies “Rocky” and “Rambo” was represented by his attorneys Tuesday morning in a Sydney court, where he faces charges for importing a banned substance into the country.
It all happened when Stallone and his team were stopped at the Sydney airport and was there for several hours as he arrived for a promotional visit. Customs officials searched his luggage and confiscated some items. Three days later his hotel room was also searched and they also found and confiscated some things.
Stallone was allowed not compelled to appear in court in the Sydney Local Court Tuesday morning and was allowed to leave Australia.
TV anchor Thomas Roberts was sexually abused by Catholic Priest at age 14. Roberts wrote an article explaining how everything happened.
Roberts explains that it took him nearly 20 years to get the strength to get his abuser behind bars and now he is ready to tell his story publicly. The abuser was Father Jeff Toohey, mentor and friend to boys that attended an all-boys Catholic school in Baltimore, Maryland.
It all started when Roberts’ parents got divorced and Thomas was sent to Father Jeff for counseling and dealing with his parents’ divorce. After the divorce everything in Roberts life tumbled down specially after the abuse started high school became a nightmare.
Roberts did not tell his parents about the abuse right away because he thought they’d be horrified to know that the failure to their marriage put him at risk of being sexually abused, and the man doing it was their beloved and trusted priest.
The national animal rights group known as the Humane Society will ask the Federal Trade Commission to fine retailers and designers for their use of garments containing mislabeled or properly labeled dog fur. Further, they would like the inventories seized and charges filed.
An investigation by the Humane Society turned up products that were made with fur from dogs, wolves or raccoon dogs, a species found mainly in Asia, that were sold as either fake fur or other types of fur in violation of the Federal Fur Products Labeling Act. Current fines for mislabeling fur is punishable by up to a $5,000 fine or a year in prison. Fur valued at less than $150 doesn’t have to be labeled.
"Consumers have a right to know what they are purchasing," said Michael Markarian, the executive vice president of the Humane Society. "If they are truly getting a type of dog fur, they should be outraged."

So the other day while getting ready to talk to some hot girls on the beach, I caught my reflection in the door of the car and it was then I realized I am getting fat! Okay fine, I have known I have been getting fat for years, after all I own a mirror and a scale. I need to loose some weight and get back to that hot little devil (no offense to Stan the Devil) I was some years ago.
Okay I was watching TV, this is when I saw this commercial with Dan Marino talking about the Nutrisystem diet and how he lost a million pounds or some crap. Sure, you would loose a lot of weight as well if stuck to their diet; I went to the Nutrisystem website and looked up the food that you would get if you got on it. I selected 3 meals; 1 dessert that I thought might be eatable and added up the calories. Here they are below;
Ok so every week millions of people gather around their TV to watch American Idol. Almost everybody has already picked their favorites. Surprisingly a few of the best contestants have been voted off. Sundance was voted off last night. Judges were very impressed with that, and have been for the past few weeks.
Antonella Barba, Jared Cotter, and Sabrina Sloan were also voted off last night. There are only 12 contestants left. Those twelve include Malakar, not exactly a judge’s favorite. Paula Abdul was stunned “I’m speechless," Abdul said. "This is a singing competition, and Sundance, you’ve been one of our finest." What sis Simon say? How’d this happen? "The volume was turned down," said Simon Cowell, who has criticized Malakar, 17, for his "weird" stage presence.
