OJ Simpson's MugshotBy Stan The Devil

On Tuesday a judge came to the decision that any money made from the book that hypothetically describes how OJ would have gone about killing Goldman and ex wife Nicole Brown Simpson. The family of Ron Goldman will get any income made with book.

This project was put on hold last November by HarperCollins parent News Corp. They reportedly paid $880,000 to an unknown third party. The judge’s decision will come into play if the book is ever published. Simpson’s rights to any income from If I Did It will be auctioned off by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department at a later date, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gerald Rosenberg said. Polak said “He will never again be in a position to profit from this book.”

Rosenberg also said that the rights held by Lorraine Brooke Associates will be auctioned off. Simpson is entitled to almost zero proceed from any creative work ever done, including his role in “Naked Gun”

From now on, any residual money from Simpson’s past film and TV appearances will go straight to the Goldman family. This will lower the amount of $33.5 million that was the wrongful death judgment, which with interests is now $38 million.

Yale Galanter, Simpson’s attorney, said that his client does not make that much money from TV residuals or yearly film and did not seem bothered by Rosenberg’s latest decision.

Galanter told the Associated Press "What they are seeking is whatever intangible property Mr. Simpson has relating to this book,” “There isn’t a book. There isn’t anything.”

The OJ Simpson: If I Did It!

My thoughts

OJ Simpson is guilty! I know he killed his wife, that crazy guy. I still don’t know what he did to not end up in jail for life. I’m glad he is not going to make any money from that book. Although it would be interesting to read the book and know how everything really happened. But on the other side what kind of sick man would write a book like that, talking about his wife’s death! Everybody knows he did it! The name of the book should be “How I did it” instead of “If I did it”
