So the other day while getting ready to talk to some hot girls on the beach, I caught my reflection in the door of the car and it was then I realized I am getting fat! Okay fine, I have known I have been getting fat for years, after all I own a mirror and a scale. I need to loose some weight and get back to that hot little devil (no offense to Stan the Devil) I was some years ago.
Okay I was watching TV, this is when I saw this commercial with Dan Marino talking about the Nutrisystem diet and how he lost a million pounds or some crap. Sure, you would loose a lot of weight as well if stuck to their diet; I went to the Nutrisystem website and looked up the food that you would get if you got on it. I selected 3 meals; 1 dessert that I thought might be eatable and added up the calories. Here they are below;
Breakfast - Scrambled Egg Mix with Cheese (Calories 130)
With the flavor of real cheddar cheese, these scrambled eggs have a cheesy taste you’ll love.Lunch - Chicken and Pasta in Cacciatore Sauce (Calories 130)
Enjoy pasta noodles and real chicken in a flavorful red sauce.Dinner - Lemon Butter Sauce with Chicken and Noodles (Calories 270)
You deserve a little elegance, and that’s just what you’ll get with this rich, satisfying gourmet-style dinner. Tender white meat chicken and egg noodles are simmered in a savory, buttery sauce delicately accented with fresh lemon. Mushrooms and red peppers round out the flavors in this mouth-watering dish.Dessert - Chocolate Crunch Bar (Calories 130)
Like your chocolate with a whole lot of crunch? Then treat yourself to the new Chocolate Crunch Bar. This rich, velvety milk chocolate bar is packed with crispy morsels, making it a decadent treat. A guilt-free indulgence and a delicious way to satisfy those chocolate cravings.
That is a total of 660 calories; imagine an average of 660 calories a day! The weight would jump off because it thought you were dying from starvation. At least all the boxes say 1 serving, not like in the store where you can buy a lunch size cup of soup and the serving suggestion is 2.
I think this would be the best diet for me, I mean I need to exercise as well. That is the real secret to losing weight, but I am lazy! There was a time that I wasn’t, I use to run 3 miles in 19 minutes, do 30 pull ups and 100 sit ups in 2 minutes. Ah the good old days when I told myself that I can eat all that I want and not loose any weight. It was the truth back then; your body needed all that fuel. But I stopped exercising and kept up with the eating, look what it got me, fat!
Well, I have decided I am doing the Nutrisystem for men thing with buy 4 weeks and get one free. I will let you know how it goes, I will even record all the cheating, any exercise, what I weight each day and if I take those energy fat burning pills. Maybe you will want to join me? Click any of the Nutrisystem links to join me on my diet. Then make sure to comment on your progress.
