Police were shocked while they were doing a search for stolen goods, and found a video of two teenagers persuading a 2 and a 5 year old to smoke weed. Both teenagers have been charged.

The director of public safety Bruce Ure said he had never seen anything like this, so disturbing. It all began like mentioned before; police went into the apartment of the kids’ uncle Demetris McCoy, for a search of stolen goods. The camera was one of the items that were stolen and recovered. When looking through the tapes investigators came across the pot smoking session. The teenagers were trying to get the toddlers high and laughing while the kids were stumbling and falling around.

The video discovered showed that apparently this was not the first time the toddlers smoked weed since the two year old was holding and inhaling the marihuana cigarette like he’s done it before.

The boys’ mother was not charged since she said she was sleeping on the other side of the apartment during the incident, nor the third teenager who videotaped the incident. The children are now in the custody of Child Protective Services.

My Thoughts

In my own opinion I think they are starting a little young. We all enjoy a little weed once in a while but I think that starting at two and five is a little too early don’t you think? Ok the mom says she was in the back room of the apartment. How big was the apartment if she did not smell the smoke… that’s a little weird. And the camera man? He should be in jail too. He didn’t stop them right? If they are smoking weed at two I wonder what they will be doing when they are 18? And I though I started at a young age!
