The Lost Tomb of JesusSo you caught me! You found the Ossuaries I hid in the Talpiot Tomb, I thought it was a good idea at the time.

Isn’t that what you want to believe that the Devil had something to do with it? I was nowhere near any of them when they died.

For any of you that do not know the story, recently in a new documentary producer James Cameron and his director Simcha Jacobovici are claiming that a burial cave discovered near Jerusalem contained the Ossuaries (limestone coffins) of Jesus and his immediate family.

Ossuary: An ossuary is a chest, building, well or site made to serve as the final resting place of human skeletal remains.

The Discovery

First excavated in March 1980 when Israeli construction workers were creating a foundation for a new apartment building in Talpiot a Jerusalem suburb. The earth gave war, revealing a 2,000 year old cave with 10 stone caskets. This tomb was one of hundreds of tombs that have been uncovered since the 1970s. Archeologists were summoned and the stone caskets carted away for examination. According to the Israel Antiquities Authority, six of those coffins were marked with the names Mary; Matthew; Jesua son of Joseph; Mary; Jofa (Joseph, Jesus’ brother); and Judah son of Jesua.

“Of all the thousands of ossuaries pulled from those tombs, only about 20% bear inscriptions. In the case of the Talpiot tomb, six of them 60% had inscriptions. This was an elite family. Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, even Latin, were all represented in the burial cave.”

The tomb was resealed and the apartment complex built on top! For those of you in the U.S., if we find a hundred year old artifact, we seal of the area put more attention into the immediate surroundings. In Jerusalem, they find tombs and artifacts thousands of years old all the time, so to them it is just another day and the process is a little bit faster.

Where Did The Bones Go?

Watch this video of Simcha Jacobovici and his explanation.

Finding The Lost Tomb Of Jesus

25 years Simcha Jacobovici and his team locate the apartment complex and sent a robot cam into the walls of the building down to the resealed cave to verify that they indeed had the right tomb.

How did they know that they had the right tomb? During the first discovery the archeologists noted a strange symbol over the door on the south face of the antechamber. They had never seen another like it: a decorative V- or Y-shaped gable or chevron over a prominent circle. It measured more than a meter wide; a quite beautifully rendered stone relief sculpture. All three archaeologists knew that the splendor of the façade, especially in a tomb with no other decorative features, was extremely rare.

This symbol was found with the robot camera and that is how they knew they had the right tomb.

The Documentary

Look, I do not want to ruin it for you, there is a lot of interesting information and James Cameron has made a documentary. James Cameron and Simcha  Jacobovici claim to have amassed evidence through DNA tests, archaeological evidence and Biblical studies, that the 10 coffins belong to Jesus and his family.

My Thoughts

I don’t want to go on and on about these bones found. I already got thousands of emails and phone calls about it. I will not be giving any interviews and probably will not reply to all those emails. All I am going to say is that it wasn’t me so please stop blaming everything on the poor little devil.

One more thing please don’t believe everything you read about me, I’m not that bad. Just wait you’ll have a big surprise when all this is over with.
